I wish all our members, visitors and their families a wonderful Christmas and an even better New Year 2018.

Hope that everybody will survive the festive season safely and make the next year even more successful.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The following Christmas message comes to you via YouTube and if you listen and watch carefully, you will detect a very humble message in this video!

The devil whispered, “You cannot withstand the storm“ and I replied: “I am the storm!”.....Unknown.

Hoping Christmas is joyful and peaceful for all of us, whether viewing it as a holy-day or not.
If I were aware of a friend's own holy-day, I would like to name it in wishing them well.
If I had occasion to wish happiness to unknown people in this perhaps varied holy season,
I might use the words 'holy season' to avoid the modern implications of 'holiday'!

I dream, therefore I am.

I'm not a fan of Christmas and I'm not one for birthdays, either. In fact, I don't care for any kind of celebration, opting out wherever possible. I'd make a good Christmas Grouch.

Nevertheless, I thought I'd make a contribution. This I find very moving by two great tenors: O Holy Night.

Good onya Hughie !
We've missed you and your harp !.... where have you been ?
...Merry Christmas to you !

BTW, my harmonica playing hasn't progressed too much in the last couple of years..... sort of plateaud out to a level where I'm happy with my playing.
The harp has to be the most inexpensive musical instrument ever made.....and it can fit in your pocket. Try doing that with a piano or guitar !
I have a Lea Oskar "C" and a Suzuki Bushmaster "A". Those two cover most of the tunes that I care to play. I love playing along with Billy Joel's Piano Man, a few of the Beatles classics and other harmonica friendly riffs.
I only have to please me and I'm happy with that !

oops !... I'm wandering from the topic of Christmas !

The neighbour's house is lit up like the QE2 at night. This is all we bother with.
