Could have been an unhappy new year...
Our daughter took the kids to see the fireworks display at Terrigal last night. She said, "There I was telling them that the fireworks were loud and bright but not really scary, and then the fireworks boat caught fire, the fireworks started hitting the beach and everyone got evacuated."

I really think the fireworks display has gone too far!
Although they are banned in suburbia, they still let them off last night, and there are always
accidents and someone gets hurt.
WHY????????
The other thing is, that the terrible cost of these things. The money could be better spent on PEOPLE!
