I hope he's okay. It's not good when regular posters stop posting.

Sometime goes to visit his daughter for a week or two..... maybe that's the case considering its Christmas holiday time.
I'll send him an email shortly to check on him.
Fingers crossed for a happy ending !

Argh cackle cackle i is here me luvs cackle, my excuse is as follows. Went to Sydney to my Daughters wedding and as usual when leaving my pristine environment got another bug, so my Doctor prescribed antibiotics the result being I got worse because the antibiotics destroyed all the good bacteria in my gut.
Soooooo the doctor put me on those inner health tablets I believe they are probiotics to restore the balance in the gut and it worked yippee.
OK to further update, arising out of all those tests I had late 2017 they found an Aortic Annerism a swelling in the main artery coming from the heart which I'm told is major surgery, I see the vascular surgeon on the 24th of this month to set a date for the operation which will be at the Wesley private hospital in Brisbane, so me luvs that's it for now.

footnote, i have been informed this type of aneurysm can be quite common in the aged population, i said to the surgeon what happens should it rupture he said you will be saying hello to Jesus cackle cackle.

Good to see you back, GD, but not so good about the need for surgery. I hope everything goes smoothly, and apologies for the NSW bug.

Glad to hear you're still with us Dukey, and good luck with the aneurism. My husband had one we didn't know about, which ruptured, and no he didn't get to see Jesus at that stage. It did affect his brain and personality, however. He was normally very unsociable, retiring, sceptical, but suddenly he wanted to join in social activities, go on bus trips, be the life of the party. It was such a change that, as his brain healed and he returned to his old misogynist self, I was quite relieved to see him back! Treatment to dissolve clots is common, but not much can be done for bleeds, only time heals.

Glad to see you back on your feet and with a good sense of humour too!

An old friend of mine had the same ailment years ago and he had a very successful op.
Just can't remember what his doc had given him as a reason for the aneurysm:
Too much, or not enough Moonshine!

:heeheehee :heeheehee :heeheehee
The devil whispered, “You cannot withstand the storm“ and I replied: “I am the storm!”.....Unknown.
