A few artists sang this: Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Louise Armstrong played it as did Count Bassie!

James blasket for Disneys Song of The south.

Regarding. Brown Slouch hat. The song was sung by the great aTivoli star. Jenny Howard. It was written for a tivoli show by George Wallace as a tribute to Aussies soldiers. Many of whom were to be in the audience for a Tiv show. George actually wrote it about two hours before the show and Jenny learned it. Its a wonderful song. I hope its not lost and forgotten. It was performed that night!
