Limericks!!

Post by Glamma » 17 Oct 2005, 21:23

I have seen this on other forums, but I tried to start my own when on another forum many months ago.
Given our scintillating personalities, and sparkling wit's; let's 'ave a go 'ere!

A LIMERICK is a FIVE line composition with the
1st and 2nd lines rhyming
3rd and 4th lines rhyming
5th line rhyming with the FIRST and SECOND line!

ONE line per player please!
MINIMUM players TWO but best results are achieved with FIVE players per limerick.
The player who writes the 5th line starts a new limerick!

All limericks from 2005, 2006 & 2007 have now been archived.

They said they'd be back at half past three

The men in a boat went out to sea
They said they'd be back at half past three
but the ocean grew rough
