Hi Mavis, hope you are well
I have read a few of Maeve Binchy's books, and I think she is a very good writer.

I pronounce her name as " MAVE". Anyone can correct me if I am wrong. :happy-sunshine:

I'd read all of her books but no doubt she's written many more since I moved on to something else.
Loved everything of hers that I read.

Trishia's right about the pronunciation though. She's Irish.

Looked on Wikipee and found out she died in 2012. I didn't know that.

Thank you Trish and Lynny. I am catching up with a few of the best seller writers I strangely nevergot around to.
So far I have found Judy Nunn impressive however the books are tied so neatly and tightly together the content might break. The coincidences are so contrived and frankly absurd.
Di Morrisey howveris wonderful. A bit like Barbara Cartland withoutthe pink. Her novels are simple romantic without being mills and bloom.
