Post by Gillian » 13 May 2017, 07:07

Some of the emoticons don't work. Can they be fixed?

An overhaul might be called for as the majority of them are never used. And a thumbs up would be nice.

I never tried using the hundreds of emojis on my ipad keyboard but waddyaknow they work......I hope 🤞

I don't know why they're not working. When I get time, I'll replace them with a more comprehensive collection.

Thanks Perry.... :text-thankyou:
I've noticed that sometimes they don't work but I'm not too worried about it.

you seem to have all the bases covered with the present range of emoticons. Just looking at the top three rows, the only additions I can think of would be:
an emoticon for "embarrassed" and another one for "gloating".
"Life's too short to drink cheap wine".

Great new emoticons, Perry. Thank you.

I'm going to try the praying one here. It hasn't been working.

Problem solved. I've removed it.

I've found a replacement, but it'll take a bit of effort to have it recognised. I'll sort it out when I get some spare time.

All the Emoticons have been there before but on the second and third pages!

The way it shows now leaves too much wasted space between our posts and SUBMIT button.
Ideally the emos should finish along the bottom of the white space we are typing in and continue on pushing the button:

"View more smilies"
