Vodaphone

Post by Dreamweaver » 10 Sep 2017, 09:29

I have an email from Vodaphone (supposedly) with invoices attached for my account. They also tell me what % I have used of my available data. I do not and never have had an account with them, so I haven't clicked on anything!

Scam !.... :character-oldtimer:

I received an email on Friday from an alleged Super Fund that I've never heard of, informing me that this particular fund was being shut down and if I didn't claim my super now, I would lose it.

Of course, they asked me to enter my bank details so they could pay in the money ! :roflmao:

I've had so many emails that look so official lately.......from Telstra, NBA, Woolworths, etc etc.... They all want me to click some link to go somewhere. It worries me how many succeed in hooking someone because they do look very 'right'.

My motto.......click nothing, and trust no-one and delete. Sad.

I bet someone thought of the days you always left the door open even if you popped down the shops.

why are people so fricken gullible?????

"There was a computer-generated voice saying it was Centrelink in Canberra, and there'd been a cock-up in their system and I was owed $2,480 in back pension, and I was to phone this number ASAP," Richard said.

"[The man who I spoke to] was quite convincing, and said that to retrieve this money, I had to buy $300 worth of iTunes.
