Still, the site is a lot faster. I complained on Tuesday about it and I'm pleased with the new server.

We've stopped for gas, Buck, and a sleep in the cab. We need to be refreshed before making the final trip.

It's in two stages. The first was a forced migration by the UberGlobal hosting company, because they've been taken over by a mob called TPP Wholesale (sounds like a grocery distribution business). The next migration is to my new hosting company, VentraIP. I want to do that carefully, which means testing it first and at a time that's least inconvenient to members.

Are we there yet? :icon_biggrin:

Would some of the latest PMs have been deleted like the posts Perri?

Quite possibly. The move definitely lost data. It was an internal migration and yet I'm locked out of the server at the moment.
Eventually, I shall move us to my new hosting provider, but I won't do that until I've carried out thorough testing first.

Yes Perry, it does seem that we lost data between 24/11 and 30/11.

I had a look at the ACP and can't find anything in the logs that suggests that anybody has adjusted or manipulated the base data.
All the 4 logs (Admin, Moderator, User, Error) are void of any entries suggesting foul play.
Even if TPP had switched off the data base during these days, then the Error Log would show that event, but it doesn't.
I don't know anybody at TPP and their reputation has an unpleasant smell, it is probably a little unfair to blame them at this stage.

In the long term it is very encouraging to see that you are migrating to Ventra who sound much more professional as IP.

Good luck with the move!

Had another look at lost data because I am very keen to keep LIMERICKS going. See entry elsewhere!

I checked on the S.P. gamers and found that in FOUR of their current games there were no entries missing during 24/11 - 30/11/17. There were no entrikes full stop. Meaning they all took a break at the same time???

Have a look at these four pages and tell me if I am wrong, please!

Well GF you’ve surprised me there. The alphabeticals follow on nicely with no days missed but the limericks miss all those days but no missed limerick lines. I think maybe we were all feeling stuck on Bill & Ben
