I see that as a visionary statement. However, we're lacking a pragmatic and realisable roadmap for implementing an economics that encompasses that and similar visions. We know the problem, having analysed it ad nauseum, but we've spent too little time looking at how a feasible alternative can be achieved.

If I were running the world, what would I do? Hypothetical questions aren't just a waste of time. When we have no reference to a similar past, and the best minds are stumped, and most of the population is thinking it's not all that important anyway, perhaps we should all be throwing our ideas into the ring. A global survey would at least stir some thought, even if only on the necessity for action.
