What Larissa said in the interview was quite correct, section 44 is
there in black and white and no amount of argument can change that.
The green senators acted on principle and by so doing have shown just
what Roberts and Joyce are, desperate and without any conviction only
interested in their own well being.

Who is benefiting from all this kerfuffle?
Think about it and then think again.....why?

Only those with an agenda will have the correct answer! Who is it?

Whoever started this didn't think it through far enough.

so do dualies have divided loyalties?
If we went to war with the UK could you stick the bayonet into your childhood friends?
Or do we round youse all up and put you internment camps like we did with the japs and italians and germans back in the day?

Phew !...
My head's spinning !
Too much information !
I may have to commence beer-o-clock early today and ponder my thoughts on this never ending topic.
Maybe sit down in front of telly and watch the three stooges "who's on first".

I've been rooting for Aussie teams and individuals for many, many years. Also, I've lived here longer than I lived in the UK. If I'm going to be locked up, please make it house arrest.

Senator Fiona Nash has just outed herself as a dual citizen (UK) and will be referred to the High Court.

She is Deputy Leader of the Nationals and will not stand aside.

Sorry..... at the risk of repeating myself,
here it is again ! :heeheehee

I'm seriously contemplating starting a new business.
It sure will be easy money 'cos there are plenty of customers out there.
My business card will read:

"Dual citizenships annulled, revoked.
Same day service, reasonable rates".
"Life's too short to drink cheap wine".

Back in the day i was always taught:
"Ignorance of the law is no excuse"
So i don't see how all these people affected can stay in parliament.
Call me Mulder, but i contend most of 'em, if not all, have known for some time they were illegal
and just kept quiet because they want to keep their snouts in the trough.
Thing about it: the parliament is nearly full of lawyers, they study stuff like the constitution and high court decisions.
They were unable to connect the dots and see what is in plain sight? :hitting_wall :hitting_wall :hitting_wall
