Localism

Post by Dreamweaver » 07 Sep 2017, 18:45

The 'localist' movement has been active for a while outside my notice. I have been googling today, and am feeling disturbed. It sounds so comfortable and homey, then I see the 'localist' uprising in Hong Kong! Are there different sorts of localists? Perhaps radical and moderate?

I do like a lot of what it's about, but fear it becoming so popular, could be a banner for Pauline and her like to wave, an argument for segregation, for apartheid, for condemnation of anyone 'different'.

Am I wrong? Today is the first time I've looked at it. Help!
