Barnaby Joyce.

Post by Buck_naked » 23 Oct 2017, 21:53

Any truth to the rumors?
Barnabys definition of marriage is a man...a woman...and a staffer????

from twitter, its lighting up. :eek :eek

"1/2 @Barnaby_Joyce preaches the sanctity of marriage, is then discovered to have been in an affair with a staffer for 8 months ..."

What I've heard is that his marriage has failed and he's been having an affair with a staffer, who has since left to work for another MP. He's a bit of a wreck at the moment with the citizenship issue also hanging over him.

I have often thought that Joyce was a country hick and something of a dill. Lately however, he seems to be making more sense and I am developing some small measure of grudging respect for the man. I am reminded of that famous quote from the bible - "Let he who is without sin.......etc." Having gone through three failed marriages and the odd dalliance on the side in lonely moments, I can sympathise with anyone whose marriage has deteriorated. Its all well and good to carp on about the "sanctity of marriage" (which I believe in, by the way), but go through a couple of vicious, nasty divorces and see how quickly your "morals" become flexible. We are all only human after all.

Yes, Hugo, exactly. My circumstances were different, but just as difficult. Walk a mile in someone's shoes before you judge how they walk.

On the net yesterday was a comment to the effect that all laws B.J. has proposed or seconded since his KIWI connections were discovered will be declared 'invalid' if he is found to be of dual Nationality.

That's the times when you need a staffer!

Three years since Barnaby Joyce admitted his staff changed Hansard records without his knowledge after Labor accused him of misleading parliament.

Labor’s agriculture spokesman, Joel Fitzgibbon, said
“In Barnaby Joyce’s case, the cover-up is worse than the crime. It was bad enough that he misled farming families, but his cynical attempt to hide his misleading statement is an absolute disgrace.”

Politicians shouldn't be allowed to change Hansard.

Those who will vote for Joyce in the coming byelection can only be classed
along with him, that is without any character or integrity after he stayed
in his seat knowing he was breaking the law, Nash also. :character-oldtimer:

I am secretly hoping that Pauline will stand against him.
It may not sound logical but is the only way to get rid of one of those two!

Well Barnaby is going back to face the judgement of his electorate.
Unlike senate swill like malcolm roberts who originally got there with 77 votes.
