China's CO2

Post by Dreamweaver » 09 Nov 2017, 21:44

China is I believe the world's largest CO2 emitter, because of its large population. But per capita many countries emit more, especially USA.
According to this article, China has been working wonders. Congrats to them!

Compared to a lot of other countries we don't look too bad, but we have some work to do.

IMO, the only way to avoid a disaster in the future is to act NOW!!!

Don't wait until the Titanic hits the iceberg, it will be too late.

A friend of my son's from university days is arriving tomorrow night with his Chinese bride ,so that will lessen the smog a little. :icon_biggrin:
However two college professors face the possibility of being fired because they each have three children .China has now moved from "one- child policy to a "two-child policy "But there is still a national reproductive policy in place.

It's good that China has improved its air quality. It can be done.

Are they going to take action in Delhi though? That looked appalling on the news the other day.
