There remains doubt about who used the chemical weapons. Some of the survivors are claiming it was rebels who carried out the attacks.

On a separate note, 103 missiles were fired into Syria, 71 were shot down. Say each rocket cost $2 million (as I've heard claimed, though some say it's much more), that attack wasted $203 million and $141 million failed to achieve its objective. Meanwhile, many in the US are struggling to make ends meet. It's strange how governments can always find money for weapons and yet cry poor when social welfare requests for extra funds are made.

The OPCW say they aren't being allowed to visit Douma by the Russians and Iraqis, who in turn say that the UN Department for Safety and Security hasn't given approval. Seeing as the Russians and Iraqis are in complete control of Douma as they claim, one is left with the smell of stinking fish.

Since President Trump announced that he intended to bomb Syria, the stock values of some of the country’s top weapons manufacturers have soared, adding a collective $10 billion in market capitalization values over the course of just one week. With Trump delivering on his promise this weekend, the rally on Wall Street continues.

Just like the fake WMD were used to justify the Iraq invasion:
On July 6th 2018, the OPCW (the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) formally announced they found no evidence indicating use of chemical weapons in Douma, Syria:

"Activities in Douma included on-site visits to collect environmental samples, interviews with witnesses, data collection. OPCW designated labs conducted analysis of prioritised samples. The results show that no organophosphorous nerve agents or their degradation products were detected in the environmental samples or in the plasma samples taken from alleged casualties."
Needless to say, this hasn't been widely reported.
