He can be manipulated through his own stupid vanity.
His 'mates' will take him out of the picture when he's been as much use to them as they want.

I'm fuming over his about turn over the TPP which the 11 countries signed just last month.

What would I like to say - Go plait your poop, maaate, we don't need you right now. We are never going to want you.
If you don't have an ASIO file by now then you should be ashamed of yourself.

Because he's so ungrounded, anything I said to him would be no more effective than a handshake. The man is nothing but self-serving, ignorant, and narcissistic.

The rhetoric coming from the U.S. is that they MAY want to join the TPP but ONLY if the details can be negotiated to their advantage. I am no expert on world trade policies, but having formed the TPP in difficult and challenging circumstances, the current members would be crazy to now let the U.S. participate. Especially so if Trump wants to negotiate a better deal than was first offered or a better deal than current members now enjoy. America now seems to think that just about every trade agreement they have is "unfair" and other nations are "raping" the U.S. - who needs them? Trade is only fair if BOTH parties benefit from it and bullying tactics are the same whether in the schoolyard or on the international stage.

Wow, Warrigal! Trump will manipulate everything and everyone he can. He said he don't really care what you say about him as long as you spell his name right. Or about him either, I suspect. I hope the TPP don't budge an inch. I was hoping the special prosecutor(SP) would get him in some massive cover up but I've decided he'll fire the SP, cause a constitutional crisis, and come out on the other side as King Trump, Supreme Ruler forever or something like that.

Open for correction. Its just a feeling I have. It is a pretty broad generalisation. Frankly this time I want to be wrong.

Obama was admired by the world but hated in his own country.
Trump is hated by the world but it seems he is liked by many (most?) Americans. 8-[

I am encouraged by the latest decision by SCOTUS ruling that a particular piece of immigration legislation is too vague to be constitutionally valid. The decision was 5-4 against the legislation. Justice Gorsuch was the 5th vote against.

It would appear that Trump, who was so cock-a-hoop over Gorsuch's confirmation, will be a bit disappointed to find out that his loyalty is to the Constitution and not to the president personally. His dream of being President for Life just took a big tumble.

McConnell announced the senate will not vote on legislation to protect the special prosecutor. That opens a door a crack. Of course, that's not a surprise since his wife works for Trump. It is beginning to look like Trump may ride this whole thing out, come out unscathed. We'll have Trump, the world will have Trump through 2024. Every Republican I know (and I know few democrats) is saying they will vote for Trump again. At almost eighty-five years I don't know why this should bother me. I shouldn't care who is in office or isn't, whether we're conserative or socialist. I mean, why am I stewing.

I'd like to say two things to Trump !

1. You're fired !

2. For gods sake sake !.... get rid of that large felt-tip marker (or is it a crayon) when you sign your humungous size signature..... and use a simple pen like the rest of us.

That's depressing, hawkeye, but don't forget the mid-term elections could upset the apple cart.
