I can see where Terra is coming from.
Trumble should have just said: " i support the yes vote "
Sco-Mo fessed up and said he would vote 'No'.
But he 'encouraged' people to vote regardless of their stance

I still find it difficult to come to terms with why the population is deciding the fate of a minority. Its hugely stacked against them any way. I have never really accepted that the majority will vote yes. I have little faith in the Australian public. They are the same people who supported Kerrs savking of our greatest Prime Minister Gough.
If I am proved wrong and there is a huge YES vote I will wear a pair hot pants down Oxford street lie my son does at Mardi Gras. Second thoughts that might not be a good idea...
I will at least admit this truly is the land of the fair go.

Isn't that how governments are voted in ?
Majority rules ?

Mavis, this was sent to Tony Abbott 2 years ago, with a copy to George Brandis.

Incredibly interesting dream.
Terra i might not have expressed myself very well. Hot having a go at you , just think my post was messy. I am a bit upset and emotional about all this. What I feel is that it is rather odd, even cruel that the whole population is deviding the fate of the gay community. I think it may not go well.
If it is a no it is vital we offer support to our gay friends and family who will be heart broken.
I maybe am being a bit negative. I teckon this was a plot hy the extreme right.

Console yourself with the knowledge that if the No vote wins, Labor, providing it wins the next election, will ensure SSM becomes law. The postal vote is a stalling tactic, nothing else.

I agree, the postal ballot is crap and a disgraceful waste of money.
That money should be spent on hospitals and the SSM issue / debacle decided by the government of the day.

Stanford University's AI can tell if you're gay or straight from a photo
The findings strongly support the theory that the same hormones affecting a fetus’ developing bone structure play a part in determining sexuality, meaning that people are born gay - it’s not a choice. Additionally, the lower success rate for women could suggest female sexual orientation is more fluid.

They will do all they can to lie and divide the country. All the time pushing the absurd free speech agenda. They ,the no camp are calling themselves bullied and victims of the terrible gays. What are they suggesting?
