Me too Betty. We often , like our parents did, use the rather hackneyed phrase ...in my day.
We were just as bad yet we have forgotten or we are in denial.
We need a well balanced legal sysytem to keep things balanced and overrule the over emotive cliches many of us, including me, I regretfully say at times, lock em up and throw away the key.
I wonder how we would feel if they were our kids. One thing for certain is I would feel I had failed in some way

Thankyou Warrigal and Mavis....Mavis you have got it in one....in my day.......that has been used for generations.

One of my brothers was a bad bugger, nothing at all to do with his upbringing...my mother always said that......wine....women...and song were his downfall.
