Are we being treated like human beings by our Corporate Captains? Have they heard of the word 'compassion' or is greed the guiding light for them?

Labor has been calling for a Royal Commission into our banking system for quite a while now and with the string of scandals we have had, it would be a good platform to take to the next election. Unfortunately, Shorten is most uninspiring and many just dont want him as our P.M. but who knows, he may well suffer "the knife" before we go to the polls again. If Labor comes up with a popular and charismatic leader, Turnbull would not be hard to beat.

I'd like a Royal Commission into :
1. State Governments selling off our poles, wires, electricity grids.
2. Selling our natural gas to overseas markets and leaving us short.
3. Shutting down our oil, petrol, diesel refineries..... Australia only has about two weeks worth of fuel in reserve. If and when the shit hits the fan, our total reliance on our fuel stocks coming from overseas in monstrous tankers will mean that we will be up shit creek without a paddle.
4. Allowing overseas multi national to buy up our dairy industry.... they are already sending our top quality Australian milk overseas where it's fetching up to 8 bucks per litre.
Yep !.... the future of Australia is bleak and I'm glad that I won't be around to see it.... but worry about my grandkids future.

A couple of other issues to add to the list :
1. Maybe a royal commission into what really went on during the Slipper saga.
2. Investigate why there is a hold-up in the Kathy Jackson prosecution. How long has it been now?

Strange how some of these things drag on.

It sure is .. I`m wondering how this Royal Commission, the final report from the almost five-year royal commission into child sexual abuse was officially handed to the Governor-General yesterday, This document is tens of thousands of pages long, and contains a total of 409 recommendations which aim to make institutions safer for children. Of those 409 recommendations, 189 recommendations are new today. I honestly wonder how they are going to ever get to the end of it and what about the ones now who are abused its going to be never ending .. I also wonder what the rulings will be with the new school books and rules on schools as far as safe sex education.. guess I am talking about a lot of things I don`t understand but to let this drag on and on those poor victims will they ever see the end of it and be compensated ? and free to live their lives again .. they will never be the same ever ..

I'm hoping the complicit institutions foot the bill for any compensation.

Compensation: Any monetary donations towards wiping out the memory of the disgusting acts that took place is just not good enough.
Money cannot make up the indignities which victims suffered and it will never ever compensate anybody for the damages that were done by those who had/have no conscience.
I can't think of any punishment that would be adequate for any of the perpetrators, other than having the family crystals cut off!

But who shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.( Matthew's gospel chapter 18, verse 6).
