I want Clinton as President

Are we being treated like human beings by our Corporate Captains? Have they heard of the word 'compassion' or is greed the guiding light for them?

What the researchers are saying is a lot of people are still suffering from the GFC and loss of jobs/uncertainty.
People are shaking the tree and looking at non traditional candidates, - Sanders and Trump.Opposite sides of the coin.
"Gonna make america great again, gonna build a wall, gonna place tariffs on Chinese goods"
simplistic stuff, appeals to a lot of people obviously.
Trump knows how to play the media game, a lot of people said he would never get this far
But there he is getting stronger every day.

I can't see Trump being for the battlers, but the battlers probably think he is.
When the voters who actually turn up to vote for president, I think most of them will be more serious, and go for a stable, moderate and thinking leader for these uncertain times.

I agree with Buck, Trump is appealing to voters who feel apprehensive about their future and disconnected from the political process. The extent to which Congress is owned by corporate and special interest groups is astonishing.

The American position is due in part to the demise
of the union movement and the liberals are trying
the same game here but with one huge difference

How do they ever get anything done in Congress? They always seem to be in election mode.

I think the major problems for Americans in this coming election is that most dont want any of the candidates that are standing. At best, they will be choosing whomever they see as most likely to do the least damage to their country.

And when I'll add that "America will survive or fall by the non-voting" voices, one can clearly see that nothing is over until The Fat Lady sings.
Personally, I would prefer Clinton but she has dirtied her nest during the Benghazi debacle. People are still pointing fingers because of her unpopular
decisions at the time.

Hilary for FLOTUS!

I often go to the states. I tell you one thing Americans on both sides admire our complusory voting.
I like it but really think its going to change regretably.
I see nothing wrong with having a few compulsory obligations in life.
You guys argue your cases so well.

PBS newshour went a long way to explain the stress of the middle class in the USA.
The federal reserve did a survey about financial fragility and 47% of respondents said they could
not pay a sudden bill of $400.
And that could explain why people are turning to Trump/Sanders.

If Hilary Clinton wins the U.S. presidential election, it will be the first time ever in history that two U.S. presidents have slept with each other. :eek

If Donald Trump wins the U.S. presidential election, it will be the first time ever in history that a white US billionaire moves into public housing vacated by a black family!

Thanks biggdad, you've got my lungs bursting for air!

Slapsy, not quite sure how to read your comment but with Bill jumping on the wagon too, I am sure only Monika can win!
lol

Buck, money is important to everybody, but is money the deciding factor in an election in the USA?
NO, NO, NO! If it was, then there is no purpose to hold an election because the big end of town would win every time!

Elections decide how the money is going to be spent in the next four years and how it would affect the lives of the individuals in broad terms.
I doubt that many Americans will vote for an extra $US2 in their pockets but rather for improving Health Care and extra infrastructures....and fewer wars!

Well one thing is for certain.
I NEVER thought I wud see the day when a black President handed over the nomination for the top job to a WOMAN.
Lets hope Hilarie Clinton gets it and not Trump.
I know some of you preferred Sanders but time to move on.
I was never a big fan but appreciated his politics.
