Bare necessities double in price

What are they griping about?
pensioners get a payrise every 6 months. luxury! :character-oldtimer: :character-oldtimer:

"Pensioners, at first glance, appeared to be better off. The maximum age pension increased in real terms (with inflation factored in) by 70 per cent for a single person and 54 per cent for a couple. (* for the period 2006-2017)"
