Hi everyone!
I have just registered, and am not sure if this is the right way to post.
Would be grateful for any help.
In FAQ it says "click the relevant button" What IS the relevant button to post a topic????

Welcome Tricia!

You'll get the hang of it, we'll help as we can.
I've moved your post into a spot of its own, as you had it as a reply to another thread.
Not to worry, wherever you put your words we can find them and help.

You had read Stewie's thread and clicked on 'Reply', which is fine.

If you want to start a thread of your own, go to the general section you want, and click on 'New Topic'.
If you are already reading a thread, that won't appear, you have to do it when you are still outside a thread.

Now I expect that's as clear as ditch water, but don't worry, there are others here who can explain better.

That's good for starters, Dreamweaver.

Welcome to the forum, Trishia.
Post away, we're all interested in what you have to say.

Thank you both for your welcome.
I will gradually get used to the different posting methods. I have found the "button for posting a new topic, so that's a start.
I am looking forward to posting on this forum, as the topics look very interesting.

That's OK! A little difference of opinion makes the forum more interesting.
Thanks for the welcome!

I won't be saying too much until I get the site under control, and am able to relax.
Thanks for the message.

Hi Trisha, glad to see we finally got you aboard the forum. For those who were sleeping all day yesterday, Trisha and I had a bit of fun getting her to join up.
Technical problems etc but we got there!
Trishia, we are here to have fun and enjoy ourselves. The main motivation is to keep our grey matter active as long as we can. All else is actually secondary!
So, if you don't agree with some of the posts, that is wonderful, just voice your idea and we'll have lots of fun sorting out which way we should be traveling.

If this forum format seems a bit strange to you, perhaps you may wish to have a look at a few hints we have put together here: http://silverpeers.com/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=10268
It may make it a bit easier to find your way around. If not, ask the questions and someone usually has an answer to help you out.

Don't be shy to ask questions or make your points known to us. We don't bite and we are all aboard the good ship "www.silverpeers.com".

Glad to see you here. Hope that you enjoy our company.

Best regards......godfather

Thank you godfather for all the help. Also, for sorting out my first post.
There is one thing I would like to know? How do I get a smiley to go into a Post. I've tried all the usual things, but have obviously missed the right way to do it.
I have however, managed to insert my Avatar, the beautiful Butterfly.
