Hi all Made it back after major crash
Thought I would have to buy another laptop but kept on trying to fix
Lucky I made a boot disk but even then it would not recognize my flash drive
After many attempts it finally did and computer did boot but a lot of problems
could not get updated as hard drive was full Mainly from my Anti virus and previous updates (32 gig HD)
Kept wanting to upgrade to next version Win 10
A few days ago same thing but with option to select sd card
So now I have a new operating system and all seems good

Next thing is to connect to NBN and find a good provider (any suggestions?)

Thanks Perry for Email re Peers and website host to jog my memory

Mainly use Face Book nowdays so if anyone on FB give me a wave :character-oldtimer: (Geoff Roy) The old bloke with grey beard glasses and hat LOL :icon-mrgreen: :icon-mrgreen:

Nice to meet up again and a Happy Christmas to you all

Good to see you again Mr Walker..... :bear_hug
Don't be a stranger !
....as for a good NBN provider, try a quote from "mate".
They get top reviews for being well priced and you get to speak to a fair dinkum Aussie in Australia when you phone them.
I'll be hooking up with them in June when my contract finishes with westnet.
Stay well young fella !
