I thought I'd been banned... kept trying to log in.... no success... finally got back in. I think I might have been trying to sign in with Pam instead of Pamela.

It can be very trying if you do use an incorrect password.
A while ago I locked myself out and had to search all over for my password too.

I stick to a few passwords which horrifies security conscious people.
However, I don't need a file on my computer to remind me of what they are.
Every one is stored in my head and therefore not easily hacked by strangers.

As I move around the forums I am sticking to the same username and avatar so that people who have met me before can recognise me easily and make themselves known to me.
The difference between knowledge and faith is like the difference between knowing about friendship and having a friend.

Thank you for the welcome.

Password wasn't the problem.... it was my username. I wanted to register as Pam, my usual name, but it wouldn't allow me, not enough letters, so registered with my full name, Pamela - unfortunately I forgot that.
