Hey kfchugo, you could always paint a country lane scene on the wall and sit in front of a fan. Let your imagination do the rest.

I once read a short story about someone who did that. It was called Stationary Bike.

On second thoughts maybe that's not such a good idea. The author was Stephen King. 8-[

Thanks for the great ideas guys. Electric bikes do sound great, but I might save that idea for when I am a bit more doddery.....right now I need EXERCISE. Much as I hate the thought, I just need to buy a bike I can get onto and off of without breaking my neck or wrecking my groinal area. Then its just a matter of pedaling uphill and down dale until I become a mere shadow of my former self. :yeah_right

That's what the electric bikes are designed for just getting you on a bike and keeping you fit. The motor only works to help you up a hill but even then you still have to pedal.

Google them kfchugo! :icon_biggrin: 'Giant' make a good one and my son's about to get one.

Trike Bikes on the Gold coast have a good range - reasonably priced including electric trikes which are ideal for those with little or old furbies
