Helicopter crashes into a high rise building.

This is not surprising, when you think of the number of helicopters in the air, and the height of the buildings in New York!

The pilot was killed. It appeared a helicopter attempted a forced emergency landing on the roof and that no-one inside the building had been injured.

So many deaths around us from accidents.

As the world population swells and concentrates in city areas, it is natural to assume that the prospect of fatalities in almost any accident scenario will likewise increase. It is probably impractical, but helicopters and small aircraft ought to be banned or confined to low population flight paths over urban areas. We cant legislate accidents out of existence but efforts to reduce them are already creating a nightmare of rules, regulations and red-tape..... where will it end? I might volunteer for the first manned mission to Mars - no traffic or aircraft hazards there. :heeheehee
