Wear cotton clothes: They help promote the growth of good bacteria
Have a lower BMI: There was a significant correlation between higher BMI and more malodorous bacteria
Eat less fast food and less meat: There was a significant correlation between an unhealthy diet and more malodorous bacteria
Go off deodorants for a while: See if your natural microbiome can recover
Grow old: Older people secrete less apocrine sweat in the underarms and have less body odour
Experiment: Everybody has a unique microbiome, so it is difficult to provide tips that will work for everyone

It's true. I didn't use anti-perspirants for years, but once I did I began to notice the smell when I forgot to apply any.
