Love to know your favourite movie
Is there one movie you watch again and again?
It need not be a classic.
It is just a movie that means a lot to you. A movie that no matter how many times you see it it brings tears to your eyes.
There are scores of movies I love. Sometimes others simply dont see what you see. Its like its your movie.
There is one movie I relate to.
Many think its a base ball movie but it is so so much more.
My movie
FIELD OF DREAMS.
Love to know your special movie.

Never saw that one. The only movies I've ever watched twice were West Side Story, American Graffiti, The Hustler, and The Man with the Golden Arm, the latter two starring Paul Newman.

Thank you so much for responding.
Dream..The Piano ..what a fascinating choice. A beautifully crafte under stated movie. Often movies speak to some folk in different ways.
Perrorist of your choices I think West side story is my favourite mainly for George Chakaris and Rita Moreno.

Re: Love to know your favourite movie
My all time favourite is The Birdcage the Robin Williams remake of the classic French farce "La Cage aux Folles," - watch it every time it comes on TV, still makes me laugh and yet there is an underlying moral to the story that was way ahead of its time.

With the current glut of modern movies I would I think put Bohemian Rhapsody onto my list. The portrayal of Freddie is nothing short of amazing, the music it goes without saying is fabulous and the story-line is so very sad but also inspirational. I loved it.

Personally, I feel that I have been entertained by a movie and had "value for money" if I have a few good belly laughs. My favourite is "Pulp fiction" which I have watched many times.

That's a movie I've watched a lot of times too Hugo. Elmore Leonard who wrote the book 'Pulp Fiction' also wrote 'Get Shorty' which was made into another movie that I love and rewatch. I guess I just like guns and gangsters.
Another movie I've watched a few times is ironically 'Groundhog Day'.

Pulp Fiction is a true classic. Wonderfully quirky. The funny thing about Pulp Fiction you find yourself laughing at things you feel guilty about laughing at. A wonderfully clever film.
Mahalia I agreewith you on The Bird cage. One of those rare times when I thought the remake was better than the original although I preferred the “ maid”in the original.
Robin Williams under stated performance was lovely.

Not a fan of Pulp Fiction, and I positively hated Fight Club. Gratuitous violence is a turnoff for me, and I don't like testosterone-heavy movies either. I must have a feminine side, as I also like romance movies that are well made, such as When Harry Met Sally and Casablanca.

I watched that on a flight somewhere. I don't usually watch movies when I'm flying, but this particular plane (Swissair, I think) had excellent audio, and I was able to follow it. Anyway, I agree, it was a great film.
