I see you somehow overlooked The Wind in The Willows by Kenneth Graham, Remember Toad of Toad Hall ? You are the only other one who mentioned Lewis Carroll. You must have been a bookworm also Perry!

I've always been bookish, Teddy. It's been passed on to my kids and grandkids, too. Up until a few years ago, anywhere I went, if there was a bookshop, that's where I ended up.

I remember reading it to my daughter.
I have never forgotten her being quite distressed.
How do they wee ? They dont have dicks!
