They are NOT weeds. So what if they are a little old ladies flower. I hardly think thats an insult besides it is not true.

They are tough and can survive droughts.
Perfect for Australian conditions.
Glorious diverse colours almost all year.
Tough. a ruthless cut back and they come back beautifully.
Sweet perfume.
Ladies tell me they are good for the skin.

I wrongly thought pelargoniums were geraniums. There is a huge variety of them, and I once grew a collection of them. Still love them.
But sorry, they aren't geraniums, though you have to admire those for their attitude, their spirit!
I dream, therefore I am.

I love both geraniums and pelargoniums! Such a wonderful range of colours in the flowers and the patterns on the leaves are lovely. Trailing ones are a favourite too. Bunnings have a great collection in their garden section.

My dad grew geraniums in England. He planted them out in spring and then took cuttings and put all the pots in his greenhouse over the cold months and lit a paraffin heater in there when it was really cold.

We're constantly replanting them. They look after themselves and give lots of colour.

I also LOVE geraniums!
They don't take much looking after, you can also grow another one from a cutting.
I love the bright colors of the flowers too.
We have a lot of them in POTS too.
Long live Geraniums!
