Girl on a Train

Post by mavisbramston » 04 Nov 2016, 19:33

There are some movies that are quite simply awful. Girl on a train is not a long movie but it feels ponderous. I noticed that a few people dozed off. Its a good title for a confusing movie because the film is a train wreck.

Thanks for the review.
Keep 'em coming.
Looking for a review of 'Hacksaw Ridge' made by Mel Gibson.
I've heard it's very gory.
Been searching for some good recent sci-fi, not much around, it seems.
'Rango ' was last the DVD i purchased, -it is just so good!

I was hunting for any references to an aunt who was disowned because she ran away from home to join a travelling vaudeville show, where she played the part I think of Molly O'Grady. I know a song was written for her -"I Love Molly"' - but she wasn't big time. But what I found by accident was this -
The Girl on the Train may refer to:
The Girl on the Train (novel), a 2015 novel by Paula Hawkins The Girl on the Train (2016 film), an American film based on the novel

The Girl on the Train (2009 film), 2009 French drama film
The Girl on the Train (2013 film), 2013 American independent film
AND

"The Girl in the Train", originally "The Divorcee", is an operetta in three acts by Leo Fall (1873-1925). After being translated into English it was performed at the Vaudeville Theatre in London as The Girl in the Train from 4 June 1910.
