Vale to one of the greats of Australian show biz. Ron Blasket and Gerry Gee were loved by children in Melbourne who tuned into The Tarax Show. He was a fine ventriloqust. So famous was Gerry Gee that a doll was manufactured by LJ Stern company. Every kid wanted a Gerry Gee jr doll. I still have mine and its one of my proudest possesions.
Ron appeared with the Tivoli circuit before his remarkable television career.
Ron lived a long life dying at 93 .
