No-bake slices

2 cups pitted dates
About 1/2 cup hot water (If dates are not soft soak them overnight in just enough water to cover)
2 cups organic oats or muesli

Pulse water and dates in a food processor to a thick, smooth paste;
It should be the consistency of a thick jam, use a little water to thin if necessary.
Add the oats and pulse until blended.
Press mixture into the bottom of a glass pan to about 1/2-inch thick, and chill.
