I saw this week
Anyone using IiNET .... LOOK out for scams I got caught ...
they have created a very presentable duplicate website with all the same offers as on IiNET ...
all the same reply letters.... ....including the signing Officer
However when you check your Bank statement it will show :-

INET LTD N,SYDNEY
Instead of
IiNET Technologi
As the Biller

Dreamie: Did you have DIRECT DEBIT with IINET? I am with Westnet same as IINET

Acquisition by iiNet. On 8 May 2008 Western Australian based internet service provider iiNet acquired Westnet for $81 million. The two companies continue to trade separately, but share many functions. In March 2015 iiNet was bought by TPG in a $1.4 billion deal, effectively making TPG the parent company of Westnet. :eek

BigGdad, it was a post I saw, not my own experience. She had been to the false web-site, so perhaps was accepting a join-up offer?
