Dirty printing

Post by Dreamweaver » 17 Aug 2018, 19:00

My black and white Brother printer has been splattering dark spots on each page. As the print was getting faint too, I bought a new toner cartridge. It's still throwing out dark spots on the page. What should I be doing, please?

You need to clean the rollers.

Thanks Perry. I thought it might be the drum, requiring different treatment than the rollers. Machine off or on. Warm water or alcohol. Plus aged and ignorant incompetence, doesn't make a good mix. I think I'll call in help!

I bought a new printer last year.... a cheapie from Officeworks.
It's an "Epson XP-235" and it cost around fifty bucks. it prints perfectly !
I get my replacement cartridges from https://www.wholesaletoner.com.au/catalog/
and despite the EPSON Manufacturers warning of " don't use non-genuine cartridges" 'cos if ya do, the world will end, my results are excellent !

a full set costs me around thirty bucks with a flat fee of $7.50 postage. If I order around 3 PM one day, they're here in my letterbox the next day.... complete with a free bag of lollies !
To avoid the postage fee.... just order more than $50 worth and postage is free.
