There is definitely one, unless it's been removed. In effect, it filters Facebook feeds so that you don't directly interact with Facebook itself.

I use a program called Metal to access Facebook and Twitter. I don't see ads in Facebook because of the privacy settings I have on my desktop version. I have set all ad and related features off, and those settings are applied when I use my mobile phone. That's the best course of action to take, I reckon.

I'm not that clever but I'll try a few things in the next couple of days and report back

I've conquered those annoying adds on youtube on my tablet by disabling youtube and installing an app know as "newpipe".
So good to click on a youtube link and be taken to newpipe which plays the same video absolutely add free.

I've installed Metal and a system level blocker called DNS66.
I'll report back in a few days with my results.
