The Turnbull Government has lost its one-seat majority after the High Court ruled Barnaby Joyce's election invalid because of his New Zealand citizenship😆😆😆😆😀.....

The best news I've heard all day !....
For Barnaby Joyce.... not the others.

Pity there isn't some sort of "user pays" protocol to claim back some of the expenses that they have incurred such at by election costs and High Court defense lawyers, Canavan and Xenophon excluded. Also Waters and Ludlum because both had the grace to resign as soon at it was clear that they were ineligible candidates. For one thing, all perks of the job should be handed back such as accrued leave, superannuation and continuity of service. Start again from scratch as a penalty for being so careless and so arrogant.

This is the sort of thing that gets under the skin

No more office upgrades and a tight rein on travel expenses should be imposed on any or all of the MPs who refused to stand aside or resign and who were found to be ineligible for office.

$670,000 for OFFICE UPGRADES!!!!

For crying out loud, that is just ridiculous. Who does he think he is, John Winston Howard???

String him up by the curlies or make him pay it all back. Problem is if New England votes him back in, he'll spend even more on a refit!

A city journalist approached Barnaby, who was waiting for him,at the gate, holding a sheep. The journalist said,"do you shear?" Barnaby replied,"@#&+ *!!,get your own."

Time for Cosgrove to grow some.
Dissolve parliament, and make sure all candidates for new election are legal.

The Greens have lobbied for a Parliament-wide audit, but the government has ignored it.
