Men behaving badly at the Dorchester

Post by Warrigal » 25 Jan 2018, 10:02

I spotted this story yesterday and chose to pass by but this morning on the radio I heard that there have been major ramifications.

The Financial Times sent female reporters disguised as hostesses to a charity dinner for men only and lifted a rock to reveal the behaviour tolerated, even encouraged, that was part and parcel of the event.

A report on the event here: https://www.ft.com/content/075d679e-003 ... 0ad2d7c5b5 (link edited)

The BBC has followed up with events after the charity dinner. Some charities are refusing donations and returning money donated in the past, and there have been some resignations within the Department for Education. Well known personalities are denying having seen anything.

It seems the words "never again" are starting to have some effect.

If you don't have an ASIO file by now then you should be ashamed of yourself.

That first link comes up with an interesting "article not found" page.

Yes, that worked. Men only indeed; more like pigs only. I hope it sends a message to event organisers to prevent this kind of thing being repeated.

Not just men, but "gentlemen" ???

These privileged creeps are not a patch on my late father, my husband, son and most of my uncles.
One uncle would have fitted right in at the Dorchester if only he could have afforded a dinner suit.
He was truly a dirty old man.
If you don't have an ASIO file by now then you should be ashamed of yourself.
