I have to apologise to the man. The little bit I heard was the most worked up.
Hearing the whole lot was a different experience, and even his impassioned parts seemed to fit in.

It was the 'fire and brimstone' deep south alabamy delivery that shocked the brits, - they would not have seen that very often.
and he seemed to go on ...and on ....and on .....and on. Also he went 'off script' from what was agreed to.
Obviously they were trying to acknowledge the afro american heritage of the bride, - Oprah and Serina were there.
I found the layout of the pews to be strange and some of the performers were placed at the back, rather than up the front.
It looked so strange to see harry and meghan with their back to the performers and the audience twisting their necks to see what was happening.

I'm always interested in what the mother country rolls out in it's Royals. Of course they're privileged but if the Brits like it, want it, it's their show.

I guess the cross cultural mix and the Hollywood style production were signs of the times, and to be welcomed.
