No federal election this year

Post by Perrorist » 29 Jul 2018, 11:58

If the LNP had succeeded in Longman and particularly in Braddon as well, we would definitely have had an election this year. The question now is how the LNP are going to respond to those results between now and sometime in the first half of next year. Will Turnbull survive? Gossip has it that Julie Bishop is already offering her support to both Dutton and Morrison provided she remains deputy leader.

Last night, a delegation of 10 Liberal MPs, led by Scott Morrison, visited the PM in his office and asked him to stand down. He refused.

It's a terrible result in Longman.
Is it because Big Trev the candidate faked his medals or because Trumble ate a pie with a knife and fork?

They're very refined in Longman. Eating a meat pie with a knife and fork would be a serious faux pas.

Either the meat pie,and the knife and fork, were borrowed for the photo or he spills a lot of coffee when he is eating.

He has now with ABC affair and like all the others he said I know nuffin,
did anyone watch Richard De Natali speaking at the press club Wednesday
impressive, seems the green are the only party with any meaningful policies
and, while I am a rusted on labor voter the greens will be my second choice
on the ballot paper ahead of the libs and the dick head one nation mob.

It was a passionate and articulate speech, GD, and made a lot of sense.
