Hubby and I plan to take a trip to Dixon Street and Circular Quay this year for Chinese NY.
I've wanted to do this for some time and after going to Bendigo for the Easter Chinese festival a couple of years ago I'm determined that this year will be it.

If you don't have an ASIO file by now then you should be ashamed of yourself.

I am off to Thailand tomorrow so will be in Bangkok for Chinese new year. I will try to post some photos if I can work out how.

Ballarat Chinese Festival, Warri? I didn't know there was one. Might have been Bendigo?
Hope you enjoy the new venture. :icon_biggrin:

Yes, you are correct. I always get those two mixed up.

Many do. Both old gold towns, both start with B, both in Victoria, both city sized.
Except Ballarat's a garden city, and Bendigo's a dry old hole, imho

I spoke at a conference held in one of them, but can't remember which. It was some years ago, and held in a large hotel. I remember having trouble getting to sleep, as the walls were thin and the woman in the next room sounded as if she was servicing an entire footy team.
