IN A world where scale is king, Australia’s top landholders certainly aren’t holding back in their quest for growth — to the point where the 20 biggest now occupy /

/. a combined area of 70 million hectares.
That’s bigger than the entire 64.4 million hectares of France and is more than five times the size of England. It also represents about 9 per cent of Australia’s land mass.

I don't mind if other countries' companies own some of our land as long as we have similar opportunities in theirs. That's not always the case.
