He says "Sitting amongst 1000s of icebergs in the Qoroq fjiord, southern Greenland. You really get the scale of things if you can find our red rib boat. We couldn't make it to the glacier our target for the day. This glacier has shown signs of rapid retreat in recent years."

Just one of the many retreating glaciers on the planet. We all know it's happening but what's not happening is that anybody with any power to act will do anything.

Someone on the Drum said - an 'in general' comment - that what we need is a leader in government to say......'This is what we're going to do. It'll be hard and there won't be immediate results but in the end it will benefit everybody. But that won't happen will it!'

Hmmm....

It's the cities and states in the US that are taking action, while Trump's gang of thieves is undoing all the good work of previous governments.
