I saw a rerun of the original Star Trek series the other day......didnt realise what a good looking dude Shatner was in his day. He is looking pretty puffy and tired these days.......but then, arent we all?

Terra,
As a Star trek devotee from way back I thank you!
I had forgotten what day it was.
I still watch Star trek Voyager every day on the TV.
Live long and prosper Terra!

I love Star Trek... especially Voyager and always watch the re-runs.

Resistance is futile.

It's International Star Wars Day actually. The force obviously is not strong in this neck of the woods.

Star Wars fans have no 'nickname' like 'Trekkies' or Whovians. so sad.

You are quite right Linny......Star Wars day is nothing to do with star trek.......now I feel foolish (which is not a rare occurrence).

See what you've done, Terra..... got us all confused.

Last year when my grandson was still in primary school the kids all dressed up in Star Wars outfits, think they've been doing this for a few years now. Does this happen in Australian schools too?

Bloody hell !...
Sorry Pamela and Lynny but poor old terra has got his "Star" movies all jumbled up.
Yep!... I was "trecking" when I should have been "war-ing".
It's quite obvious now that,
"May the 4th be with you" was nowhere near me !
Bugger :oops :icon-mrgreen: :heeheehee

 you lot!
Tell you what, a star's a star in my book but to my family it's a different thing.

Anyway Trekkies.....apparently July 30th is the International Day of Friendship celebrating the friendships on Star Trek and Deep Space Nine (which was better than Star Trek. IMHO of course)
