Slipped in through an open window

Post by Leonie » 19 Feb 2018, 13:54

Hi Everyone, I'm new to this forum. Thanks for opening the window Perry.

My name is Leonie and I am a 72-year-old, long retired Sales Merchandiser. I live in Ipswich Queensland. I already know a couple of people on here, so - waving to them. I am a member of a couple of other senior forums where it gets a bit heated from time to time. I can handle that, but this place has been recommended to me as a much nicer, more friendly place. So, folks, it's reputation is in your hands

You're very welcome, Leonie. Do have a good look around, and respond to anything you fancy, even if it's quite old.
(After all, we're all quite old, too!)

We can make it a seniors event at the next Olympics: Window slipping. Perhaps even synchronised window slipping!

I closed it straightaway. You never know who might slip in unnoticed.

Hey Teddy - Leonie is herself a very talented poet - something she tends to not advertise, but I hope she will share some of her work onto our poets page for you folks to enjoy - I know you will enjoy her poems, and thanks for the compliment on my work mate - appreciate that :text-thankyou:
