What disturbs me most is that despite all this evidence, it's not being taken seriously, otherwise drastic action would have occurred by now.

Because we are experiencing cooler weather in some areas, I wondered if ice floating from the Poles was cooling certain currents, but I was told a lengthy scientific explanation which I can't remember. It involved why the term 'global warming' is no longer used, but instead 'climate change'. Because it won't be a uniform change I think we don't know all of what to expect. Certainly it's more important than political ideology!

I prefer 'climate crisis'. 'Climate change' was coined by the fossil fuel companies to give the impression that the effects could go either way.
