I can't explain it.

If it's not true, it ought to be.
If you don't have an ASIO file by now then you should be ashamed of yourself.

they were hungry and followed with their sense of smell?
reminds me of the 'death cat' in the hospital that would visit people about to die.

They don't behave like hungry dogs in the photos, do they?

The seen and unseen.

.... on a similar note, sort of,

I've mentioned this on the old SHS forum a few years back.
....... about 5 years ago, a few streets away from where I live, an elderly man suffered a heart attack in the shower. He lived alone and had no family and apparently no friends. He died in the shower as a result of the heart attack. His only companion, a faithful dog, was also in the house at the time. The dog was locked in and unable to get out.
The mans body was not discovered until some weeks later. The dog had survived all this time by eating his master.

so sad !

Animals always know and relate to those who love them. Doubtless they knew she had died as the spiritual connection was broken in much the same way that twins know when their sibling is not well or in pain, or in the way that elephants know when one of their own has died and when horses know that their owner has died even though in some cases oceans have separated them. There is no plausible explanation except that once we all had these intuitive skills and with our evolution men have lost it whilst animals appear to have retained it and still have the ability to tune into the location of the other party.
