Winter's 'ere !

Post by terra » 29 May 2017, 10:54

Well.... almost, doesn't officially start until 1st June...... a few more days.
However, a nice cold front came through last night bringing icy temps.
Today, its just on 11 AM and it's nudging 7 degrees outside with a wind chill of 3 degrees. Beautiful crisp sunny day, blue skies and fresh air.
It's a cozy 23 degrees inside with the wood fire cruising nicely.

y'all know how sir stanley kidman had that chain of cattle properties to move cattle north to south to beat drought.
I wonder if the same could work for climate change?
a chain of residences from north to south, - migrate according to season.
Grand duke could handle the northern part of the property chain and Lynny down in tassie the southern part.

I'm still in shorts, but it's my hands and the front of my neck that feel the cold.

Shivers, shivers and more shivers.
It's 9pm in Brisbane and 14.8C going down to eleven C overnight.
Goodness gracious I think I'll stay in bed all day tomorrow.
Can't stand this winter weather at all!
