Cloud house

As home extensions go, this eye-catching extruded cloud is certainly something different. Completed earlier this year, the "Cloud House," as it is now known, is the result of both the renovation and extension of what was once a traditional double-fronted Edwardian house in the Fitzroy North suburb of Melbourne Australia. It's now anything but.

Terrific concept as an addition to an older residence.
I don't think it would have been cheap to build!

This story is from a website called "Gizmag.com", I recommend to save that website because it has some amazing new and upcoming products you and I have never heard of.
I just spent an hour having a brief read and I am stuck for words.

DW, thanks for the story and the link!

Interesting but doesn't appeal to me either Silver.
The last interglacial had less ice, higher sea levels, and warmer temperatures than this one. So, according to the evidence so far, human activity must have a COOLING effect.

Silver & donander, it isn't an entire house, it is an addition in the backyard of an old established Edwardian residence.
When you see a street view of it you will only see the old house and nothing of the extensions.
It's probably more a tax deduction that anything else, but still very lovely, especially the bathtub in the backyard!
